Every year, I go to BORDEAUX to taste the samples of the wines that will be sold as futures. It is only after this intense week of tastings, that I order the wines I wish to offer to my customers, considering two major parameters, simple but unvariable:
1) the wines have to be really interesting at the taste
2) They need to be economically interesting, it means, with the possibility to give a value for the wine lovers who buy the wines as futures. (I never recommend to buy as future when I think that the wine will be at the same price when it is delivered 2 years after).
Don't be surprised to see a restrained list, whatever the vintages are...
Making a click on the link "ANALYSE BORDEAUX PRIMEURS" (ANALYSIS BORDEAUX FUTURES in the menu on the left) you will get a complete access to the analysis I made for the last vintage tasted in BORDEAUX
